If you’d like to download all the resources in one, kindly click the ‘Download All’.

Family Booklet

The Family Booklet is a guide with strategies to support your child in different situations.

Have the booklet printed at your nearest printing shop or with your printer if you have. Preferably in color, but it’s okay if you can only afford black & white.

You can use any kind of paper (A4, Short, Legal), at your most convenient!

Make sure the pages are arranged accordingly and are clamped together by a staple or a binder clip.

Once you have the complete booklet, thoroughly read the foreword of the book. It will carefully tell you that this book is for you, as a parent—to guide you with your child’s learning.

Activities that can be done with your child can also be found inside!

We recommended having them use pencils for repeated use of the booklet.

Finally, you are ready to use this booklet for your guided learning journey with your child!

We, and Twinkle, believe in you!

Communicards

Communicards are activity cards that help you practice simple communication skills with your child.

Have the cards printed at your nearest printing shop or with your printer if you have.

Make sure it is in color as it made to be used with color coordination.

You can use any kind of paper (A4, Short, Legal), at your most convenient!

Once printed, carefully cut them.

If you can afford it, have them laminated so the cards can last longer. If not, that is okay also!

Once you have the Communicards, there are three types of cards that can be found with different colors.

Each color is a step to communicate effectively with your child!

Start with a red card!

Show your child common household items, and ask them to name them.

Next are yellow cards!

Model the actions found on the cards and make sure to use real life objects.

Then encourage your child to imitate them.

Finally, the blue cards!

Children naturally show different emotions.

Use the blue cards to help them recognize and name their feelings.

This can be used again anytime as quick interactive activities with your child. Good job, parent!

Visual Schedule Board

The Visual Schedule Board is a visual tool that helps you and your child create and track daily routines.

Have the ‘stamps’ of the board printed at your nearest printing shop or with your printer if you have.

We heavily recommend it to be in color, but it’s okay if you can only afford black & white.

You can use any kind of paper (A4, Short, Legal), at your most convenient.

Then, carefully cut them after printing.

If you can afford it, have them laminated so the ‘stamps’ can last longer. If not, that is okay also!

What can you use as a board?

You can use any flat wall-like surface that is easily accessible to your child!

Like a door, the refrigerator, or even any wall that you are able to use.

How do you ‘stamp’?

You can use any adhesive that is easy and clean to use, like scotch or masking tape!

Now that you have all you need, how do you use the visual schedule?

You can ‘schedule’ the activities that your child will do for each part of the day.

You can set the schedule with them, and encourage them to put the activity ‘stamps’ themselves on the wall!

Whenever they complete an activity, tell them: “Good job!”, or do a high five!

Also have them ‘stamp’ a star under the activity they’ve completed.

You can also give them rewards every after they complete a certain number of activities.

To know more, download the complete guide found at the top. (It’s okay to not have it printed.)

Lastly, use this whenever you can and it’s okay if you and your child can’t complete every activity.

It is only a guide after all!

What’s important is you and your child have quality time together completing the activities.

Good job, parent. We, and Twinkle, believe in you!
